How to Seduce Your Pain into Pleasure – Part 2

How to turn pain into pleasure If you haven’t read yet, here is the How to Seduce Your Pain into Pleasure – Part 1

There are 3 basic steps that you need to consider and act upon in order to turn your pain into pleasure.

Your subconscious mind runs on automatic pilot by default (the result of the life long social conditioning you have been subjected to) but your conscious mind have the ability to disrupt the default behavioral pattern of your subconscious mind and make it act otherwise–in your favor. Doing this consistently will help develop a new and more powerful mental pattern that will help you immensely in your life.

Here are the 3 basic steps to turn your pain into pleasure.

step 1 – Avoid Immediate Reactions. Conserve Your Energy

The conserved energy acts like a pressed spring with energy built up inside it. When you will avoid the letting out part and prevent your subconscious to waste it aimlessly, you will have the energy to work with. If the energy is gone then you are left with no tension which means you have got nothing to work with.

I am very well aware that many mainstream therapists may disagree with me on this but remember I am talking from own experience and observations and I am certainly not talking about clinical cases which do need proper and supervised medical attention.

step 2 – DONT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS AND DON’T GENERALIZE

Whenever something bad happens to us we immediately try to put a label on that event and generalize the happening and then react to it at a subconscious level.

On the other hand I suggest that you avoid this process. Instead, try to find out the real reason why someone misbehaved with you in the first place. Most of the times it’s never about you and it’s usually about the other person acting on a whim or acting out his default ingrained behavioral pattern.

Go for the specifics and avoid generalizing. This will help you gain a more factual perspective of the situation bothering you.

step 3 – Channelize your reaction in a well thought out direction

This is the last step. You have the emotional energy built up inside you. You have stopped the blame game and you have also stopped yourself from abusing the situation and complicating it further by not reacting immediately.

Now all you need is to transform that energy into a positive one and let it expend itself in a purposefully and consciously selected goal, chosen by you.

conclusion

That’s about it. Keep it simple. Stick with the basics. You might fail in the beginning but if you keep at it, one day you will make that change.

These 3 steps might not seem that revolutionary in the first glance but trust me there are really very few people who actually understand this concept and even fewer who act upon them. A simple look at the world, as it is today, will confirm this notion. Just look around yourself.

Matrin Luther King did. Jesus did. Khalil Jibran did. Rumi did. Almost every great personality who changed the world in a positive way did. If they can do it so can you.

Remember greatness is not something you are born with. It is something you acquire on the way. You have the seeds within you. Let them grow and make this world a better place to live in.

It is your basic responsibility. Embrace it.

    Hi Abubakar

Excellent points. Too many people forget that it IS their responsibility of whether they choose to stay in a state of pain, or transform it into something greater for one's state of being.

Love the keep it simple part too!

    • Yeah Evita you are right. We always try to make it someone else's responsibility and this blame game keeps us stuck in the rut.

Glad to know a like minded individual and thanks for visiting. :)
